Pelco Essential Business Notice

To All our Customers, Vendors, Partners and Friends:

As we mentioned in our message on Friday, these are trying times and a fluid situation with events subject to change. Events have changed at Pelco Component Technologies since last Friday.  As we all know all employees at non-essential businesses in New York State are required to stay home. We at Pelco are a supplier to a number of Medical, Healthcare, Transportation, food service and other industries that have been deemed essential.

Further, we have over the last three days received a number of letters from these essential manufacturers asking us to stay open and continue to produce and supply these components and products.  Therefore, our facility in Cazenovia, NY will remain open as an essential business with a skeletal crew to maintain the production line producing these parts. We will continue to adhere to governmental requests and guidelines for social distancing in the facility. In addition, since Monday of last week all non-essential employees have been working from home. These non-essential employees will continue to work from home.

As mentioned in our earlier notice, our Mexicali facility continued to run and produce product for our essential Pelco Electronic Manufacturing Services (PEMS) customers. Cross border trade is still allowed, and shipments will continued to be made.

Our first goal remains the health and safety of our employees, their families and our vendors and partners. In addition, we will continue to serve the needs of essential equipment manufactures producing products to help in this time of crisis.
