Single Shot Timer TGPL

Putting Power to Work with the TGPL: 

For commercial ice makers that need constant replenishing, use Airotronics Single Shot timers with a relay.  Upon closure of a normally open external initiate switch, the load is instantaneously energized and releases the ice into the bin to be dispensed.  The delay starts over once the switch is open and the cycle repeats the next time the switch is closed.

Wiring and dimensions of Single Shot Timer-TGPL

Timing Mode:  Power must be applied to the input voltage terminals continuously. Upon closure of a Normally Open (N.O.) external initiate switch, the load is instantaneously energized and the time delay cycle starts. Maintained closure or actuation of the external initiate switch during the delay cycle will not affect the time delay period. When the delay period expires, the timer will reset to its original position and the timer is ready for another cycle.

MX36 Series in in the marine industry

MX36-GCB Series offers three types of panel mount high-amp circuit breakers. All are waterproof and meet IP67 standards.

• MX36-GCB (shown): Type III, manual reset with switch, available with current ratings from 25–180Amps
• MX36-GCB-A: Type III, manual reset, available with current ratings from 25–180Amps.
• MX36-GCB-B: Type I, automatic reset, available with current ratings from 25–180Amps

The MX36 from Trimax is suitable for many aftermarket vehicle applications and the Marine industry.  Extremely durable the MX36 is available up to 300 amps of overload protection.  There are two main UL standards for such a device:  An electrical device that has been certified Ignition Protected is suitable for use in marine engine compartments and fuel tank spaces.  There are generally two test standards accepted by the Marine Industry – SAE J1171, External Ignition Protection of Marine Electrical Devices and UL1500, Ignition- Protection Test for Marine Products.  The MX36 carries the UL1500 standard and can be used on any watercraft that needs ignition protection.

The MX15 from Trimax is used in battery operated scooters that you see in every shopping facility in the Country.  Whenever there is user interface with a battery-operated equipment UL requires the breakers to meet the UL 1077 Standard which states; Supplementary protectors as devices intended for use as overcurrent, over-voltage or under-voltage protection within an appliance or other electrical equipment where branch-circuit overvoltage protection is already provided or is not required.  In the event the battery has a major malfunction our MX15 will protect the motor from an overcurrent situation and more importantly the user.

Peter Kip, Jr. Pelco’s President/CEO announced that effective Monday October 5, 2020 Tom Sukkrasae has been promoted to Project Manager. Kip states “Over the past five years, Tom has shown himself to be an excellent team player who is willing to go above and beyond to help his colleagues in the engineering department as well providing support to manufacturing, quality, sales and Pelco as a whole. We are excited for him as he takes on his new role.”

In this role Tom will work within the engineering department on board layouts, product development and other special projects. Some of his new responsibilities include, generating preliminary specifications for new customer applications, preparing production documentation, and generating production test procedures. Tom prepares and builds timer samples requested by our customers. In addition, he evaluates customer returns, calibrates test boxes, and much more!

TGKA Repeat Cycle Timer

For heating elements used to maintain a temperature for food in the food service industry, check out the Airotronics Repeat Cycle timers.  The heating element is turned on when an input voltage is applied and the “On” time begins. At the end of the “On” time delay, the load is de-energized and the “Off” time delay begins and turns off the heating element.  The “On” and “Off” times set by the user will determine the mean temperature realized in the target area.

REPEAT CYCLE, ON/OFF TIMER WITH RELAY:

• High current-carrying capacity up to 30 amps
• 100% Load isolation
• No leakage in N.O. position
• No heat sinking required
• Available in any time delay period required
• Digital CMOS timing

Timing Mode:  Application of input voltage to the timer starts the “On” time delay, and energizes the load. At the end of the “On” time delay, the load is de-energized, and the “Off” time delay starts. At the end of the “Off” time delay, the load is again energized, the timer returns to the “On” time delay, and the cycling continues as long as input voltage is applied. Removal of the input voltage resets the timer.

Putting Power to Work with the TGM:

If you’re using a fan to cool off a motor and would like the fan to stay on after the motor turns off, the Airotronics Delay on Break timer will work well for you. The power to the fan is on whenever the motor is running. Once the power to the motor is turned off, the initiate switch for the timer opens and the time delay is started causing the fan to continue to cool the engine for the additional set time period. At the end of the time delay, the load is de-energized and the load is ready for another cycle.

OFF DELAY, DELAY ON RELEASE, DELAY ON DE-ENERGIZATION:

• High current-carrying capacity up to 30 amps

• 100% Load isolation

Timing Mode: Input voltage is applied continuously. Upon closure of the normally open isolated external initiate switch, the load is energized, and remains energized as long as it is closed. When the external initiate switch opens, the time delay is started. At the end of the time delay, the load is de-energized, and the timer is ready for another cycle.
