Industrial dryers, large or small, require the ventilation system to be working properly. If the fans do not come on within 5 seconds when the dryers operate, the Peltec 351 sends a signal to the main control panel to shut the dryers off and flash a warning light.

Systems using ultraviolet light for sterilization of hospital rooms, medical devices and surgical tools require continuous power for expected performance. If the UV light goes out during operation, the Airotronics CS senses the lack of power and shuts the unit down. At the same time, it turns on a warning light and audible alarm.

Shavings, chips and sawdust are cleared away as the work is done. In commercial applications, the Current Sensor is built into the control panel for cutting tools, saws, routers and more.
An on-board LED indicates sensed current through the toroid. When the current exceeds 1Amp, the relay turns on the fan, with a 1.5hp motor powered by 120VAC line voltage.

Airotronics HCS is a high-range current sensor with sense capabilities from 3 amps to 60 amps AC. Lower range may be achieved by additional passes of the monitored conductor through the sensor. In addition to 4 standard ranges, custom sensing range is available on request. HCS is completely self-powered and delivers solid state switching to interface with a PLC or control relays. The set point is either factory fixed or adjustable. This sensor accommodates load input voltages from 3V–230V, AC or DC, 1amp max.

Overcurrent Sense Mode

When the sensed current reaches the setpoint the output turns on.
When the current goes below setpoint the output turns off.
